It's the females with the bloodsuckers. Males are much larger than females, and have no blood sucker.

my pictured bug isn't even shaped like a mosquito... NOR did it have a bloodsucker... same as female, just not used...
also, notice the antennae aren't even "mosquito-esque"

nice picture, JC... I was wondering, when you reduce your image size from whatever setting you use on the camera... do you sharpen them in PS? You should...

I love chopping my pictures after I take them... cuz you can get stuff like THIS, which is so not possible otherwise...

I agree the picture came out softer than I wanted. I don't like how the picture gets grainy with abundance of sharpness; like the turn rear left turn signal on the civic.
