Hey, I'm looking for a body-shop to shave the satellite antenna off the roof of my Acura TSX (I don't subscribe to the service and the antenna looks like a tumor). Can anyone recommend a body-shop in the Chicago area that would be able/willing to do this? I'm a new arrival to the city, so I don't know the scene at all. By the way, I tried using the search tool but I couldn't find anything useful. Thank you much.

in the city, both erie lasalle body shop and gold coast do excellent, topnotch work... but they may cost a pretty penny. i have had nothing but excellent work done there, and i used to deliver to their shops... nothing shady going on at all.

i dont think that would be a problem...but it wont be cheap depending on the size of the antenna hole and whatnot...

Hey, not to bug you or anything, but how much do you think it might be? If it would be really expensive to remove it, I might just leave it be.
honestly, i have no clue...what they would have to do is remove it...but i know that only SOME manufacturers only use GLUE to hold them down which is why some of the same cars as your do not have them attached...but it can vary from all different manufacturers and models...best bet is to go to a reputable shop and have them research it, or try calling john / kenny and see what they can find out before you get too involved with it...

Not to steal your thread, but my buddy is looking for a shop to mold his body kit and paint his entire car. Its a 97 altima..anyone recommend a good place?
