depends how much you want to cut. you could try doing cardio after your workouts or just have a seperate say for cardio. 3 times a week should be sufficient...

if his diet is shit he wont lose anything. even if he does, he will gain it back...If you're new to weights, i wouldnt really start with high intensity training. focus on building up the main muscle groups first...

You're right about the diet. If you have shit for diet you can do all the cardio in the world and stay fat. I would however recomment HIIT over any other types of cardio for weight loss.

i read up on HIIT. i started running a few weeks ago almost every morning aside from weekends, tomaro morning im gonna incorporate this into it.
as far as my eating habits go i'v slacked off bigtime, i was doing good for a while but just lost it again, fast food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and double cheeseburgers as snacks in between. i work all over the place so thats basically my only option, only thing i can change is the amount of crap i eat and bring healthier snacks with i guess.

Eat tuna, easy to bring with you. High in protein and low on calories. Can be prepared for almost anything. Can be used in a sandwich, put onto crackers as a snack, cooked for dinner. etc.
