I think I'm about to get scammed...

So I sold my friend's Ipod video on ebay, and I get this email from "service@paypal.com". So I don't open it yet, but I go to my account and my balance is zero. Wtf? So I open the email, no blue paypal logo, it's all TEXT. Looks like this...

if you haven't shipped it. don't ship it.

request a final value fee credit 7 days after the auction ended and say the buyer never sent payment. once they respond- you can click that you don't want to deal with the buyer and you'll immediately get the credit.

then relist the bitch.

and send me your paypal userID and password- I'll investigate it further

as long as you get the tracking number to prove to paypal you did indeed ship "something".....that would work!

Yeah, I think you're getting ripped off.

I'd tell him to actually paypal the money to you or you'll relist the item.

I would have shipped that the minute I seen it. but seriously. If you recieve anything like that at all, verify with Paypal first. Call them up, forward that email to them, ect.
