| Gyms and Their Membership Fees Hey Guys,
Well, needless to say, all the eating fast foods and Ramen has caught up to me and am lookin to lose my gut and love-handles. Any recommendations on gyms that maybe offer trainers to help me get on the right path? I also don't wanna spend an arm and a leg a month. Any help is appreciated!
I have not found anything about Lifetime Fitness Membership rates. The fees differ and currently there are not many gyms that offer lifetime fitness.... The best I have found for lifetime membership were costs of 2000$. That amount of money is a bit too much for me and my fitness... |

| with lifetime, you can visit ANY lifetime gyms around the United States. I pay $60/month for the sports membership. it's def. pretty good and you get a certain amount of passes each month to bring friend/s. |

Getting into a gym to me is like dealing with a really bad used car salesman. These people are evil scumbags who will milk you outta every less coin they can get you outta you. So with that, you just have to play your cards right and bargain with them... On average a yearly membership will cost you $400-$500 total depending on what your payment plan is, (I paid in full so it was a little cheaper)... but getting a trainer is where they really rake in the money... Costing as much as $50 or more per session. And they always want you to get more sessions in per month.
Evilness aside, make sure your properly motivated to do so and to keep up with it over time... its harder then it sounds... |

| I was at XSport when I was living in Downers and paid like $400 for the year with tanning included. But there's no XSport close to me now in Mundelein and my membership with them expired. Thanks for the help.

19.95 a month, $150 sign up fee (1 time, never can be charged again), NO CONTRACT! I signed up there a short while ago myself, and I like it pretty well so far. Another nice thing is that you can go to any of their gyms and there's no extra fees or anything. The lifetime fitness membership prices vary tough.

| Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm gonna go with Lifetime since I know some people that currently work out there and can get me on the right path to bulkin up.
Isn't hydroxycut a weight gainer? I wanna lose weight and bulk up on muscle. |

| I used to be a lifetime fitness member... Awesome gym, you may have an initiation fee, but you don't have a contract!! I actually got my initiation fee for $60.
The membership that allows you to have access to any lifetime fitness in the USA is the $60 per month, otherwise the $50 a month you're limited to some gyms, and some of their unneeded "benefits" (like free racquetball, wall climb, and some other little things). Once you become a member, they might give you this really nice box full of supplements, vitamins, energy bars, etc or you might get what ever they have going on. You also get this monthly Lifetime Magazine that I never read; too healthy for me.
I hapenned to be out shopping one day, and I was right by one of their locations and figured I would go in and see how much price difference, if any, would it be when compared to the Schaumburg location. This lady came out to talk to me, and I told her that I already had been there couple of months, couldn't remember the name of the guy that I spoke with nor how much he quoted me. She tried to figure out who it was (not for long since she wanted me to sign up), and she told me that she would cut me a really good deal only if I were willing to sign up the same day. I said that it dependend on how much she was going to charge me, so she told $60. |

| Yea, I think I may hit up the Lifetime in Schaumburg since I have a friend who goes there that can get me on the right path to losin my McFatty's gut.
Thanks Freddy... do you remember her name so maybe if I see her and be like "Freddy sent me," she'll throw some cash or something your way? |
