a few of my friends and i are going. the cost is $60 for open track time from 5:30-8:30, seems they go to 9 some days(?) total track time depends on the number of run groups and all there, i would expect 1 to 1.5 hours, which is a fair amount of laps.
my (faaast) buddy and his bro are going with a 280z racecar. my bro and i are going with miata and sti. trying to get a few other people i met in too. gingerman is a very safe track and arguably the best for newbies around this area. it's located in south haven, mi which is also a popular beach/vacation town. let me know if you're interested in going with.  yah it's on a weekday but that's the easiest time to pick up and get in - so you'll probably need at least a half day off of work to really make it up there in time. |

| yeah, these are pretty frequent as in most weekdays. normal track day there is $120-$145 depending on who you go with, you do get more driving time but yah $60 ain't too shabby. esp when compared to autox then it is fantastic!! check how much pad you have, maybe you are ok, but yeah always a good idea to bring an extra set. although i haven't my last couple times heh.  ! | |

| i have stayed before for multiple days to get a few in, however that's not the plan this time. just in and out. staying out there is really expensive now - it's a pretty popular vacation spot and the hampton i haved stayed at before that was $80 a night is now $160 a night! | |

| you'd be better off trying to rent a mustang or g35 or something, for some reason i just don't think an accord would be that sweet on a road course. gingerman only has 1 wall you can hit. which i'm a fan of. not sure when we will be leaving. buddy was talking pretty early in the day, i'll try and find out tomorrow. all good as long as you are there by 530 though, and mind the time change since they are an hour ahead ! | |
