| The local shelter here in Hinsdale has some nice kittys. Not too much money, but I know you said free.

| ^ usually getting cats/kittens at a shelter and paying the adoption fee is the best bet.
That way, they've had their checkup(s), shots, dewormed, de-mited, neutered/spayed, etc. You will have to pay for all of that out-of-pocket if you get one "free" and then take it to the vet.
The Almost Home Foundation has some really tiny, cute ones - at least when I was at the PetSmart on Schaumburg/Barrington a few weekends ago. They're usually around on weekends from 10-3 or so. Usually any shelter/rescue is overflowing with kittens this time of year.

| my friend is giving away kittens 4 of them are all black and the other two are black white and orange... but he lives far away, but is coming back up the 4th of aug...
