| Indigestion after regular meals. OK, I don't know what kind of input I'll get on this...
I've been getting sick after anything I eat. I've been eating moderate portions of food, but food I'm accustom to - twice a day, 1 Lean Cuisine, or a healthy sandwich, or soup, eggs, or dairy. I'll get indigestion a few hours later, or IMMEDIATELY afterwards (which surprised me: I didn't think food could go through you that quickly!).
What could be behind this? Has anyone else experienced the same?
Should I just go on a diet of rice for a while?? Or go to my doctor? |

| Not as a joke, but how tight are your pants/belt? According to a Dr I deal with at work, too tight of clothing can cause indigestion. I dunno if this is the case with you, but it might be worth a try.

| Not too tight.
I've been lounging around the house mostly wearing boxers with an extra 4" of movement or so. |

| maybe ur lactose intollerant? sp. or maybe the food you eat sucks. It was horrible for me when i had to eat dorm food, id get sick as soon as im done eating. I actually lost weight my freshman year instead of gaining the avg 15lbs other people get. |

| Hrm, maybe. I have been eating a lot of cheese and milk. My mom has it, and I hear the likelihood of getting it increases with age.
Sh!t, when I moved into the dorms I gained the 15! Sucked. Pizza, and pints of Ben and Jerry's...mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken...mmmmmmm. Not to forget all the alcohol. So good, yet so bad. What the hell did you eat? |

| Tim hit a good point, with all honesty and without embarrasment, when i was working at my previous job and i was gaining weight, i did wear my pants a bit tight and as you could guess, the bathroom was like my office.
Then i started working out, like i used to, from 173 lbs. to 160 lbs in a month and maybe 5 days and i feel good now. Indigestion is not as it was and also, the rice diet may not be a good option, that is my down on this. I used to eat rice, hispanic of course, then i realized that it was the cause to a lot of it.
Also, i eat like 6 times a day, smallish portions so my metabolism is still the same, fast.
Anyway, i'd cut down on stuff and have will for this, it does work. Trust me on that, just commit to a diet, repeat to yourself about it and it will be a normal thing later on as you progress.
I do this everyday:
raisin bran or whatever it is WITH skim milk.
mid morning yogurt.
lunch
mid afternoon a fruit or two
late afternoon my next meal, somewahte heavier
then water to finish the night off.
Let me remind you that i'd recommend you Jenny, as you are tall, drink at least 70oz of water everyday.
It will help and i hope this helps anyone, if they wish.
Thanks. |
