| HOLY MOTHER OF MOTHBALLS!!! Fucking southern Illinois FOX cut the game over to the Rams right after the Bears scored the TD with 2 min to go. I had to call my dad and stay on the phone while our D shut down the Vikings for their final 'Drive.' But WOW did that game keep me on the edge of my seat. Too too many penalties called by the refs though, wtf. |

| Ok, we passed our test #1 barely with a win. I think our offensive line would have to improve as Rex was taken down, and pressured many times.
You know what really sucks, though? Des Clark going down.

As far as the O-line goes... we should have alot better luck against other teams as I haven't seen any team blitz as much as the Vikings did yesterday. The only team comparable would be the late 90's early 00's Bucs, but even they weren't as hostile as what the Vikes brought up.
I'm sure that will be a major focus in this week's practices for the Bears though. |

| I didn't like the fact that the announcers said that Lovie says we're still a running team. They need to realize what potential the players have, and that these games were won with alot of airtime. I think they need to look to the passing game, which is where they've always lacked. yes, running the ball will control the clock, but passing will put points on the board.

If we didn't run as much as we do (and we should still be doing it more) then more mistakes like what Rex made against the Vikes (ie, threw the pick for a TD) will begin to happen. The running game both stabalizes the offense for us as well as wears the defense of other teams. Without it, our passing game would not be as effective as it has been in the past couple games. | So, we have the Bills, the Cardinals then, a bye week, then to the 49ers? I'm not saying we'll go undefeated, but man, the schedule is on our side.
