| Welcome, fellow DSMer! Hope you enjoy your stay.
BTW, I know my boyfriend (ChitownGST) will want to take that talon off your hands for a daily driver/winter beater. |

| By all means, not much of a DD since ive used a DD with the car and the car is normally stored for the winter, but if he buys it he can do whatever he wants. I can see where he's comin from for a winter car with the AWD, but i think this talon would give his gst a run for his money. |

| Oh, I highly doubt that. But it's between you and him now...
Naw, it's not the AWD he wants because he's technically got AWD whenever he wants. All he has to do is drive my GSX, but he has mentioned wanting a 1st gen. |

I hope you guys are joking, but you guys do know that the car is a 2nd gen right? and if the horsepower numbers in his avatar are current then yes i can give him a run for his money. I'm not callin him out or anything, and i give him props for impressive numbers, but the way you say you highly doubt it makes it seem like you're putting him on an untouchable pedestal.

Sorry about calling your 2nd gen. talon a 1st gen. Unfortunately, I'm at work, and gauking at any pictures for more than 2 seconds kinda raises a red flag around here saying "This chick isn't actually working!" So, excuse me for seeing Tim's post and following suite.
You don't need to be putting your defenses up. We welcome you to our forum, why do you find it necessary to attack us because I mentioned that I believe you wouldn't be able to win a race against my boyfriend. I don't know what you've done to your 2nd gen. talon, but I do know what my boyfriend has done to his GST. I also know how he drives, and I know who he has "run" up against. So, yes, I am proud and impressed. Just like how I'm impressed by Jay's (Fretburnr) handling of his BMW. Being impressed by my friend's skills and abilities isn't necessarily putting anyone up on a pedestal. |

Maybe I'm like Tak... I never lose! Oh, and if I ever do get an AWD DSM, it's so going RWD it's not even funny! Do it!
Edit: My name's Reggie by the way.

Do it! | well technically tak did lose when he blew the motor on the hachi...he may have not lost in the touge battle, but if he were street racing he would've had to pay up, but no way would i turn my talon RWD. That would be so much work and so much money i don't have, to do something that wouldn't be worth it. Because in the end it's still a DSM and it handles like a kickball thrown down a mountain. And this is why i'm leaving DSM's and making my way to the miata world. |
