| The fact that some guys can read the girl's section... then those guys complain because ONE girl saw the guy's section briefly. |

I was working on something like that, and contracted someone to work on it from Canada, but now I want to choke that person to death.
Don't worry, it will be taken care of.

| IMO - Even if the ladies section got a new moderator - I don't think it would still be active, Only because ladies on here are slim to none now.

| the lack of posting and enthusiasm bothers me. as moderators/admins, we can only do so much. if members were motivated to initiate discussions more often, i and many others would probably be more motivated to discuss.
also childish rivalries bother me. i still can't understand why there are 5+ other automotive forums for the chicagoland area. of course, there's not much CV as a site can do about that.

There aren't a lot of girls on here, and the old female CV'ers only pop in once in a while. However, we did picked up myself, Daniy, and Crystal who are pretty active on the site (thus far). I think if we knew it was actually confidential, then I think we wouldn't second guess posting in that section anymore. |

| Elect a moderator for that section and I'll fix the privacy. Give me a list of new members that you want added to that section also.

| Yeah, I miss talking to her!
Ryan, you'll have to give us a couple of days so the other girls can see this and put in their input. |

| The political discussions generated a lot of activity (even if they were kind of pointless). It was still fun when people pushed each other's buttons. |

| I have a few sugestions.
Being a car-based site, I think we lack "tech" info... if you will.
For example:
Nissan: Phil
BMW: Jay
Chevy: Tim, BadSS, Ryan
Mitsubishi: Me
Honda/Acura: Yulaing, Nick, Eric
Etc... you get the idea. Of course, I am not limiting just these people. There is a lot of good knowledge on this site that is just stagnent.
I think we should have more of a direct automotive section. The general car discussion is too 'general'-for lack of a better word. I also think by this, more people will chime in to participate. Each of us could add what is good, what is not, along with tech stuff to help each other out. I think it will open a whole new world not known here.
Also, maybe have an autocross section with the likes of Jay, Sickmint, ect...
Drag racing, Rustang, BadSS ect... people who activley participate in those sports. Tech tips, stratigies, do's and don't.
And also, bring back Bling/Unbling! And some advertising our site, too!
Just sitting here talking about won't do squat, we at least have to try.
Reggie

| In general, the overall lack of activity is kind of a let-down. Im on here all night at work and I'll try to start or reply to a thread in an attempt to start disscussion and it sits there all night for the most part.
Lots of lurkers.
Im not saying there is really a solution there, either. I know its been an ongoing plague and will most likely continue to be one unless the entire forum community here decides to take a more active role and talk to others here on the site.

| What bothers me is the childish behavior that is on here. I lost energy and the will to come on everyday and post like I use to.
As far as the privacy issue with the girls forum, there really shouldn't be a problem with that as whoever can see it only moderates it and nothing gets out from there, unlike the childish behavior that happened with the guys only forum. As soon as a something is seen in the guys forum it gets leaked out as a warning. Please do not say us girls have to stick to together BS either.
I think the overall members have shifted to a different type of mind set. There is too much sensoring of words, discussion etc.. |

| My biggest problem is the lack of discussion. I'm guilty of not posting as much also, but I haven't seen all that many good topics around here lately. Reggie has some good points also, as well as some great ideas.
