same for me too, I loose almost 1 second if I don't do a burn out (but we do have 2 ton cars)

IMO, quit bein a sally and just put a tire on it. i cut low 1.5 60fts with my stock 7.5" 10 bolt with 4.10 gears. as long as the person who put it together did a good job it'll hold. if you wanna be safe buy a TA cover and have at it.

No need to look at peak HP. Doesn't mean a damn thing, peak torque on the other hand is where your car is accelerating at its hardest. Horsepower ratings are bull shit and don't mean anything. Just a stupid calculation to try and sell cars to the uninformed public.
