I'm sitting here looking at the label of this 10oz bottle of grape juice. It says 100% juice, no sugar added.
200 calories
50g carbs
49g sugars
I mean, this is worse than a can of Mountain Dew, no?

| what kind of grape juice? It probably says from concentrate also. Labels are very open to what they call juice. What are the ingredients? I am a personal trainer and get alot of questions like this. |

| Worse than a can of Mt. Dew? No.
If you're worried about the carbs/sugars then just cut it with plain water or pour a smaller serving. |

| If it's real juice then all that sugar is from the grapes naturally. No added sugar to not make it so sour. Better than Mountain Dew... if it doesn't have high fructose corn syrup, yes. |

| true 'Leo' has a really good point. The ONLY! way to be sure is to eat fruit, or juice it like 'kris' said. I usually don't drink juice that says 100% juice because they can be very sneaky on word play. Make your own juice, plus it tastes alot better. Nantucket Nectars is the only brand of real juice that I know of (with exception to their orange juice i believe). |
