where do you bike? any trails around here, paths, etc.

I like to do the fox river trail from Dundee to Geneva and then over to West Chicago via the Geneva Spur(?) and back up the Illinois prairie path to Elgin and back to Dundee. Anyone have any trails they like to take?

    whatchoo do?

I'm mostly a mountin bike but i spend alot of time on trails as well . since i live in winfield i have pretty good accsess to where ever i want on the IPP so i have several different loops i'll do but when i can i like to go to deer grove forest preserve and a few other hidden mountain bike trails. Honestly i wish i got out more but it's boring by yourself as there isn't anyone to push you that extra distance or talk to.

i average 37mi per trip no matter what style riding i'm doing on my 2005 fisher hookooeykoo. <nice bike but the original tires suck.

I'm a stunt junkie, BMX or MTB. I love to ride skateparks and dirt jumps, but I will also ride some XC, long distance, and commuting to work.

Last weekend I loaded up Green with a bunch of riders and headed to Ray's MTB Park in Cleveland, OH. A monthly trip during the winter.

I'm getting back into biking as well. I have some TREK; can't remember the model, but it was no more than $250 at the time.
I just bought myself a trainer, some slicks, speedometer, etc. Now I need to do a little tune-up on my Trek, ride at home, and be ready to ride all over Chicago again!

If you're into mountain biking Saw Wee Kee in Oswego will kick your ass!

Palos trails are real nice, too. They're longer and more open, and easier for the less-than-hardcore. Knock Knolls in southern Naperville is a good place to start cause there's a good mix of tight woods riding and open trails.
