| "anti death supporters of saddam?"
this hardly demands a response since it's some incomprehensibly ignorant a statement it's not even funny.
no one is supporting Saddam...not one person in the other thread opposed to his execution has supported Saddam.
He didn't get to be there to defend himself at the BIGGER of his atrocities, that was when he killed 200,000+ Kurds. If you know anything about "due process" him not being able to be at that trial is bullshit. not that it matters any way now that he's dead.
So this is going to increase the violence in Iraq, at least temporarily... and the sad thing is, no one EVER thought we'd end up saying "Iraq was better off under Saddam."
Executing him solves NOTHING whether he deserves it or not. Whenever the videos of Bush at the gallows is posted, THEN you can come back with this shit... but that isn't exactly going to happen, is it?
he should've remained in jail at the Hague, under international control... like all war criminals should... not executed for one of his "minor" offenses. now no one will ever know the full details of all that he did to his people. |

| ...or know the enormous support he was given by the US (know how and materials) to have the ability to actually do those things to his people. |
