| Site recruiting? I don't know if this has been discussed before, but we should have a way of representing our message board/'club' if you will to potential new members.. IE.. see a nice car in a lot, tastefully modded.. put a card in the window. We do it over at Bonnevilleclub.. Our cards are what gave me the idea for here.
Here's what I mean.
put em up like this.
Or should we just continue using pen/paper?
I know someone has to have connections on this one. .be able to get cards made like that.
And then, have X amount for $X.XX , the funding *could* go to benefit of keeping the site up. What do you think? I see alot of worthwhile cars around which I'd recommend this site to, also to get more local members and therefore have more meet-ups. |

| I agree -- Getting business cards made up isnt hard at all. Distributing them can be a pita though.
One thing I would like to do is get a group of volunteers to run around to car shows once they start - and hand out cards and what not. Promo the site heavily -- |

I used MSPaint to just make a simple display picture for my myspace profile, saying CV and Chicagovelocity.com along my sites I'm members at (that i felt like listing.)
Use this style logo .. make a sticker in various sizes/colors.. from white to black and everything in between?
T-shirts, hoodies, pens, whatnot?
this is easily possible if we wanna get our name out there! |

| Actually, Ill be having all new graphics made - so that part is no problem. Decals will be available as well. T Shirts, a strong possibility. |

| Where things get complicated -- Every site I own has asked for things like T Shirts -- Which have to be ordered in certain quantities for the price to not be outrageous.
But then - after I order say 100 shirts - I gotta sell them -- Thats where it becomes complicated - and why I have boxes of unsold t shirts in my basement -- So keep in mind, there is a cost involved for some things, and that cost has to considered. |

| I'm game for all of the above. I know I plan on being at Great Lakes constantly this summer and wouldn't mind putting stuff out there.

| oOoo my artwork is still being passed around. but yeah joey in terms of the tshirt thing i did have a recomendation for the next time cv makes a tshirt. where u dont have to purchase a single shirt and yet at the same time people can order as much as they want. also with the plus part is that u can have color and u know how expensive that gets. also u wont have alot of shit in the basement with leftover crap. |

You could always follow a car you think is hot and then roll down your window and try and talk to them through traffic. And as they pull into a parking lot. And follow them to the door of the store they're going into. That's how I ended up here. |
