here an idea..........black and white....... and you can do the bricks in brick colors......... make sure to add some wind effect on the letters like i did with the pencil.....rocks on the bottom left can be black and white......
i think this is simple yet nice font style, not TOO much buildings .....bricks bc its bad ass chicago so like feels like a back alley kinda feeling.....

| chicago is also know for some sick ass tagging .......if you go to the city alot or on trains....you see tagging.......kinda reminds me of that.......plus like i said, alley ways, thinkin bad ass or secret area...... .... i dunno

| Okay, I kinda have an idea...
If ya'll want to do the whole Chicago skyline thing...
How about "Chicago" in block letters of different widths and heights... to make it look like the buildings within the skyline. And write "Velocity" underneath but kinda overlapping "Chicago" in a thin, edgy type font. And maybe a slightly winding road going from right to left underneath that... but slanted and wider at the bottom end to create depth... then maybe something in the background of the "Chicago Velocity" part for an extra kick. Something maybe like a moon with something inside the moon like a gauge or something symbolic of our site or Chicago...

| The Chicago skyline has been done to death and I rather see something else up there. I rather look at Chicago style pizza with a CV spelled across it in pepperoni than to see the Chicago skyline.
There are other Chicago forums and frankly (ha), I'd like to see this site stand out from the rest.
