whats your next lens, and why

for my next lens i want the nikon 70-300. I Had an old sigma 70-300 that didnt work right, and it finally broke. I really miss my 70-300, so im going to go with an other 70-300, and since all my lens are nikon, Ill just spend the extra money to have matching collection :P

50mm f/1.8 ... cuz they take RIDICULOUSLY SHARP pictures... and I like that...
I'd also like to get a 28-135mm cuz I think that'd be a better everyday lens than my kit lens or my 28-90

close up as in zoom? or close up as in macro.

the 85mm is a great portrait lens.. and the 105 is a great macro lens.

or you could get a sigma 70-300 for 1/4 the price..

I don't have an SLR but just a regular ole Canon S3. There's a kit out on eGay with a wide-angle lens as well as a few other accessories that I want.
