feather edges like 65 so you'll get nice curves on the corners.
hit CTRL + I to inverse selection
then Filter -> Distort -> Lens Correction and adjust the vignetting to your liking...
but there are also other things involved to make the rest of it...

| no.....I was able to get a similar effect (although harder to do) using filter->render->lighting effects

it's interesting to see how the elliptical marquee differs from the rectangular one. I used the elliptical in the shot of the porsche (1st pic)
