| fuck undercover
police mustangs..
i'm driving down grand avenue 132 in Gurnee earlier, and im by the rosen honda dealership, and this guy in this green 4.6GT Mustang Convertible flies up next to me, and the driver has a dead stare, and I was thinking he wanted to fuck around so I kinda sped up a bit, and he rolled up next to me when I moved over again, and I got pissed off/freaked out, and Sped off.. Lost him. About a quarter mile after I lose him, he rolls up on me again doing about 90, and I look back at the road and went to take off, and I hear sirens.. I look up in my fucking mirror to find out it's an undercover police mustang
he walks up to teh car and says he paced me doing 70 iun a 45, when in fact it was 60 mph i was going at the fastest because I looked at the gauges for some reason. . and it was a 50 mph zone. he also said i was weaving in and out of cars, and got me for "improper lane usage."
i explained my concern to him that i was a little freaked out and he said 'whatever i don't care i'm just doing my job.'

That happened to my ex, he was in his 02 GT stang.. and our buddy was in a Trans Am... we were getting on the high way and there was a Z28with tints that got next to us, reving it and stuff.. and my ex was like nah.. well our stupid buddy goes to race him.... so they take off as we do the speed limit... moments later... our friend was pulled over by that damn undercover Camaro | |

i was shaking and couldn't hold my arms still when he walked up and he looked at me like i was on something.

(the cop was nice if he didn't tag you for speeding, use your turn signal if you're going to drive like an ass, now you know there exist unmarked cars- adjust driving habits accordingly)

| I am bold by saying this but racing on the street has become very very dumb, but that is just me, maybe because i just dont' do it.

i've seen or heard of camaros, chargers, intrepids, still using caprices, seen new '06+ impalas, crown vics..etc.

| Even though my lights are covered in the back window, I laugh my ass off every time some stupid speeder comes right up to me in the next lane and slams on their brakes as soon as they see the lights and the "unit number" on my rear quarter panel. Happens at least once a day and gives me some entertainment on the drive to work/home.
As far as your experience - even if someone freaks you out, you shouldn't try to out run them. Slow down if anything else and let them pass. If they really were trying to be an ass, slowing down wouldn't have harmed anyone.

"it's been nothing but problems since you got your liscense. tickets, broken cars, staying out after we tell you to be in by XX:XX.. (i got in trouble for being one minute late the other night after 11:00.) and this and that, blahhh"
im REALLY frustrated.

im REALLY frustrated. | You should have told the cop what he was doing was entrapment and that you demand to see his superior right on the spot before you provide any information to him.
Next time don't be such a wuss and continue driving as if no one was trying to mess with you and ignore those kind of drivers.
You were suppose to be home at 11:00 and you weren't. Don't get mad at your parents when you were the one that came in late. Even a second past 11 would be late. | |

I've done some stupid things in the past, but one off hand was a very late at night in my area...It had to be about 1:30am and I was just cruising slowly to my gf's house...
All of a sudden an Audi TT goes FLYING past me in the right lane, I was going under the speed limit in a 45mph zone and he clearly passed me to get my attention...
So stupid me, I get the urge and aggression and I downshift into 2nd and catch up in a few seconds...When I catch up to the guy, he tries speeding off again...No way buddy! I go Wide Open Throttle, tear thru 3rd fast and slam 4th....I pass the Audi like it was nothing and he's right behind me the whole time....Finally we both slow down approaching the next traffic light...
As we were slowing down I notice his interior light is on and the 2 young men are trying to say something to me...I finally get right up next to the guy and notice the passenger is screaming at me and flashing a police badge thru the window....
I got scared out of my mind realizing what I had just done. So, I turn on my right turn signal and get the hell out of that area! He didn't even attempt to follow me, altho I contemplated if he wrote down my plates or if he was off-duty and just messing with me...
So, altho I did something illegal, that car DEFINITELY did as well, as I was not speeding when he flew past me doing 20+ over
Sorry for your ticket buddy, we've all been there

I've had two tickets. One for 57 in a 30, and the other for failure to obey traffic signals.
1. 57/30: 2nd week I had my liscense, i got rear ended. if someone was on my bumper, i sped up. well, one week later im picking up the accident report.. on the way there, I was being tailgated by a dodge ram pickup, so i kept speeding up and speeding up, then he turned off on a street, so i began slowing down.. sure as shit, i hear sirens, turn around and there's a round lake park district cop pullin me over. he said he clocked me doin 60+ but he would write it down some since it was my first ticket , third week having my liscense, and he believed me and saw the truck.
2. out by my house, i stoped *fully* at the line at the intersection. three seconds later, i went to go, it was a red light, and made a right turn.. cop puled me over and said i did about 20 MPH through the red light and I tried fighting it in court, but I didn't feel like just going through the hassle of trying to tell a cop he is wrong, because nobody would have believed me being a 17 year old MALE.
this is the third and fourth ticket. i am not sure how it goes from here, i'm just playing this by ear. i'm sure it's gonna be suspended for awhile | |
