Import, Domestic, European are subcategories for General Car Discussion, shouldn't Sportbike and Cruiser be subcategories for General Bike Discussion?
Just too many categories right now for my likings |

I’m still new but I’ve been apart of enough groups to know this might just come back to bite you in the butt. In short: you may own the group but you don't own the users. Ondrew |

| My suggestions: I’m not saying the category’s should be eliminated just take the main category and put everything else within it. There is no need to list everything separately when several are related. Here’s what I’m talking about: Detailers corner, track talk and shop recommendations should be within general car discussion. Cruisers, sports bikes and bike shop recommendations should be within general motorcycle discussion. I might suggest that these just be combined, as there is little traffic on that portion of the forums. WTB should be within they're categories instead of separate. This promotes people to look at the for sale ads more often and prevents double posts. IE someone looking for something already being offered. This was recently discovered at http://67-72chevytrucks.com/ when they tried it the way it is on this site. It failed horribly and ads dropped by 90%. Personally I had a hard time selling anything with the failed system. Ondrew

| I doubt there will be enough traffic in the motorsycle section to warrant multiple forums.......
just a motorcycle one.......shop one, bikes for sale, parts for sale, gear for sale is about it...and prolly can toss gear into parts |

Well, I appreciate the suggestions but I dont plan on dropping any forums at this point. I just added the forums you specifically mentioned, because I am hoping to get current members to post in them, and to bring new members in that are interested in these topics. So, the forums are staying at this point.
What I would really prefer to see, is member embracing additions and trying to help promote the site. More members = more posting = more benefit to everyone. |

| As I stated - I will be whoring up the Cruiser section quite a bit and will make sure I mention our site to anyone I meet at bike rallies/benefit rides - I have 4 big rides planned so far for this season. |

Joey owns several large, and very successful, car forums. He knows what works. Why don't y'all give it a chance and see what happens? |
