Yeah I'm in Fox Lake now...definitly a lot of boats! The Chain is really about the only thing out here, but I gotta get some watercraft now so I can enjoy it while I'm out here

Boats are big investment of TIME and money... good luck with that.My Uncle lives up that way, he's a boat guru. If you really get serious about wanting to purchase a boat, let me know, I'll give you his #, he has many friends that could get you good deal in that department.

^ ahhh, ok, yeah no worries.... jet skis scare me.... when I was in the military we had a house party at one of our SgtMaj's houses.... he lived on a lake.... and I witnessed 4 of my friends get seriously injured by accidentally colliding.... I never swam so fast in my life... about a mile offshore .... those combat water skills they taught me in the Marines TRULY helped myself and a few others save people's lives that day. I haven't been on a jetski since. Just be careful when you guys decide to get them!!!!

That is scary! Were they O.K? My main fear of jetskiing out here is the chain is full of drunks. We got a lake in our neighborhood, but right now they have a 10hp max. for boatsHopefully it'll get changed. Besides, I can't snowmobile in the summer, so jetskis are the way to go! But their just like any other motorsport, you gotta be careful, take necessary precautions, and be alert!

Yeah, def. glad to hear you have a good head on your shoulders with regard to safety on the jetskiis.And yeah, my friends were ok from the accident, although, ok meaning they all survived. One of them lost his leg and ended up having to get medically discharged from the Marine Corps.... another one ended up miscarrying a child she didn't even know she was pregnant with.... besides concussions, and prolonged hosp. stays, they all lived to talk about it... after the wreckage, etc. it was all you could HOPE to happen. Hence, my reasons for not going on a jetski since.... craziness, but true.
Anyway, just be safe! OK?

Yeah, def. glad to hear you have a good head on your shoulders with regard to safety on the jetskiis.That's crazy! I'm glad they all survived it though. You can never be to careful. A few weeks ago around here there was a kid snowmobiling and he fell through the ice and drowned...it's soo scary. I definitly would be afraid to go on ice in a snowmobile. I wouldn't blame you for not wanting to go jetskiing, if I saw that I would be scarred emotionally too!
