| New shop opening... My buddy Tristen has owned an shop for a few years now and he does really good work, but now he wants to branch out and sell performance parts next door. He's not looking to compete with AMS or places like that-IE not specialize in one make or model.
Pretty much, just bolt-on parts for now, and if it works out, maybe he'll sell bigger products like turbos, blowers, fuel managment, etc...
Chelsey and I have given all our advice, but he, as well as I, want to hear from you guys.
What parts would you want to see, not see.... prices, service, etc... Lay it on me. I've already given him a couple top sites to compare prices to, and he's going to be very competitive. Very! We've already priced out a lot of parts, and like I said, he'll be almost right on.
Along with that, could you guys please send me links to your favorite sites that you order from so he can gauge his prices and what he should stock.
Pretty much, to start out, we're thinking of these parts: Gauges, exhaust, intakes, seats, wheels, suspension, rims, etc. Good brand parts. Not Ebay knock-off garbage.
Last, most of the parts he wants to sell, he can install in his shop next door. Which, I think will be convienent to a lot of customers. Anyway, enough of me talking, let me know what you guys think.
Reggie

| One thing I like about one6, is that they sell things you wouldn't find sold in other shops.. ie, 3" exhaust/dp gaskets, NGK spark plugs, silicone vacuum tubes, couplers, etc.

| Can he stock the parts that will make a tune complete or the ones that are mild tunes such as the elbow for air intake that has a resonator removed? Those sorts of things where someone can mod with out taking the chance of voiding the warranty. |

| His performance shop isn't open yet, but he's owned his own mechanic shop for years. He's just now starting to get some parts in. It's not even setup yet. He wants me to run it for him... we'll see.
