I did the learning curve last year in Milwaukee. Overall it was kinda so-so. The class room first part wasn't really anything special, it seemed to be more geared towards the basic rules of Auto X and how its run, and just touching on the basics of driving skills and what not. The actual on course was awesome though. they made 2 short courses about 30 seconds each course with an easy to fallow layout with a variety of obsticles(?). But with the group limited to 50 people you could pretty much sit there and hot lap. only a minuet or so in between runs and you had an instructor in the car with you every single run. By the end of the day you prolly had 40-50 runs total with an instructor.

The Milwaukee region is a one day 2 part class limited to 50 people.
If I remember right the Chicago region last year was a 2 day 200 people event....

I'm definetly gonna sign up for one if not both for '08
