Windows Movie Maker

I finally decided to just get the simple windows movie maker and I cant even transfer vids and pics off of photobuckt to my computer. I cant even figure out how to get vids. on the movie maker. Its getting frustrating.

Someone help me out with this.

WMM is teh suck. you need a codec for just about everything - i can tell you that much from 1st hand experience.

I used it a long time ago, I thought it was real simple, but I don't remember anything about it. They've probably updated it by now too.

it is simple to use, but god forbid you want to use anything other than WMA or WMV......

depends how they were uploaded - you can upload just about any format. i believe they give you options on which format to download.

you want to 'import' them. should be right under the 'File' menu

you mean the codecs for the other file formats? you have to buy them. you can find ones for free if you dig hard enough - but i'f never had much luke with the 'freebies'

I like it 'cause it's easy to use, and it has 16:9 capture unlike some other apps I've tried.

I heard Sony Vegas is fantastic!

Hay, if you want,try Photozig.com. It's fairly cheap and it has a trial period before you pay!Don't know if this will help you but it's a shot in the dark for free. I bought it. It's so inexpensive I felt that I couldn't go wrong but I only get into the still side of it.
