| Very hard start when cold I have a 1986 vulcan 750.
When its warm it starts fine but when its cold it is a bear to start. and is worse the colder it is out. if you use the choke it sometimes floods.
any suggestions? |

| ditto...carbs prolly need a rebuild done on them...they get gummed up...or, if the carbs were not taken care of, the jets themselves could have deteriotated to the point where they dont work anymore...rebuild them...

any suggestions? | If you don't know carbs take it to a good old time mach. cause these large motorcycle shops don't work on anything older than 10 yrs. That is a rule of thumb. Or, If your unlucky and have a lot of time to get it running right you can always buy a book and do it yourself. Good luck, you can do it. |
