Fuck FLP!!!

I know this is the recommendations section, so I recommend NOT going to FLP. On the suggestion of a friend, I decided to contact FLP about getting a crank pulley for my chevy to run my blower. I called and emailed Mitch @ flp and he said "We can get that for ya, no problem." I told him SPECIFICALLY what I already have and what I needed. He assured me that he could get what I needed. I figured they probably know their stuff, being they have an 800+ whp procharged impala, and 1 of their customer cars is nearly identical, and since I have a caprice that's also getting a procharger... why not? So, I went ahead and ordered my crank pulley, as well as another belt and a smaller blower pulley. Well, I got my parts and guess what, they ordered me the EXACT pulley I already had, which subsequently WILL NOT work. I emailed Mitch the very next day after getting the pulley (which he denies) too tell him it was wrong and needed to be returned. So, a little time passes and I don't hear from them. I email him again, and he says bring it in. Well, since their hours greatly conflict with mine, I finally took TIME OFF from work to make my way over to their shop and return the pulley THEY ordered WRONG. So, what do they do??? They charge me a restocking fee AND shipping to send it back. I argued with them for a little while, but I quickly realized that due to their poor customer service, I wasn't going to get anywhere. So, in the end, I'm eating $31 on a restocking fee and shipping, $10 in gas to get to their shop, 1 hour of OT @ $25.50 and I STILL HAVE NO FUCKING PULLEY!!!

So, FUCK FLP and the horse they rode in on. Luckily for me, CMJ performance in Addison is going to custom MAKE a pulley for me so I can get my car done. And, when my trans breaks (and I know it will), FLP will absolutely NOT be getting my business.

Sorry to hear that. I have had nothing but good luck with FLP. I got great customer service when i delt with them. mitch and dan were great guys.

That sux man. Never done business with them directly but one of my friends had a torque converter put on his z28, if I remember correctly they took their sweet time installing it.
