| For the record, anything over 30-45 minutes drive is 'a haul' to me to come out for an afternoon.
However, I'll be bringing the bike, so distance really doesn't concern me at all.

| look at my user location.....
i'm just saying in general: if i have to drive 45min-1hr, it's a haul for me. Otherwise, it's not that bad

BTW, did you get moved to your new place ok?

| I think Busse woods is a nice place and there are some areas that are less crowded. I would bring the grill since it is right around the corner. |

| Well, I'd need a good deal of help planning this. I need someone to get specifics on a location. I need someone that offer up a grill, need people to chip is for food. Since there is no word that we'll financial help on this, everyone needs to chip in a little to help out.

| Ok, labor day sounds great.
Lets run with this. Someone needs to nail down a site for this and i think we can get grills/supplies easy.

| Im in, especially if its at busse woods (a 10min drive for me)
The one circled in red is pretty private with lots of space for grilling and lining up cars. And theres a buncha lakes to toss a line out into right there.
The one in blue is another big place, but usually more busy.
Do we have to get a permit there? I bet so.
I bet u all know busse woods anyways...haha
