| Zymol wax? Has anyone used Zymol wax on their car? How did it turn out? I have a bottle sitting at home. Haven't used it yet. Does anyone know if it's abrasive or not? |

| zymol makes lots of products, including $200/jar Carbon and Creme waxes that are pretty top notch.
may i presume the one you have is that baby-blue bottle of zymol cleaner wax? If that's the case, yes, it's abrasive. dont' use it, your paint doesn't need it right now.
All "cleaner wax" products have an abrasive in them to break down scratches etc; but that means improper application can leave lots and lots of swirls.

| DAMN, now I'm going to have to spend $20 on my own bottle of Meguiar's Tech wax.
So, when would it be a proper time to use the Zymol? (Yes, it's the blue cleaner wax.) Do you apply it differently? |

So, when would it be a proper time to use the Zymol? (Yes, it's the blue cleaner wax.) Do you apply it differently? | You use it the same you would any other wax, you would first usually clay bar the entire car, or use dishsoap , dry , then apply wax with an applicator pad much like paste wax, just zig zag it on the surface in 2 foot lengths like on the hood or trunk or roof, for doors and vertical surfaces, i just put a quarter size amount on the pad, and apply it in a buffing motion.
yes, this stuff is good, as it's all i will use on my cars.
my old bonneville..please keep in mind this car rolled off the assembly line on September 24th, 1994.. Therefore being almost 14 years old and the paint shines that much still.
