Any advice would be helpful.

Any advice would be helpful. I’ve been working out and dieting for a few months now, but I seem to be at a standstill for weight loss. I don’t understand why. I workout 3-5 days a week. Help!!! I’m only 7lbs away from my goal.

Is your routine the same? I was having the same problem and this great site http://www.findyourdetour.com/, informed me that if you don’t challenge your body you will maintain your current body weight. You need to try different stuff!!

Variation and stress and diet. DO not stay constant with one food change it up and are you getting all food groups ? Or is your diet more biased towards one?

you've hit a plateau

add variety/change up both your diet and workout routine

plus increase your water intake (make sure to have at least a min. of 64 oz. water a day)

I go to the gym 3-5 days a week.. I do lots of cardio.. then I over head to the machines... I try to do the classes when I can but my schedule doesn't really permit it to often... i also swim sometimes if the pool is open when i get there... I don't know what to do any more...

Oh boy. First off, NO MACHINES!!! Work with real weights first, then cardio second. Your overall workout should revolve around weight training, the cardio should be secondary. There have been recent studies suggesting that cardio actually makes you gain weight because your body will overcompensate by eating more than it needs. Weight training is the way to go, and train HARD. Don't just go through the motions, push yourself to the limit.
