I have a native American friend. When the EU switched to the Euro he sensed a change in world economics. He started exchanging 100 Euro every month and put that into a cup. He made a good deal

.
For me the $ course is very good for traveling to the States. I have just been at Chilis and ate for 9 $, which is 5.5 Euro. For that you can not even get a Big Mac meal in Germany.... Afterwards I went to mervins(spelled correct?) and bought 2 Levis for in total 60 $. That is around 40 Euro, for that you can not even get a single one in Germany.
Nonetheless, the low $ course is really bad for our economy too. Goods are sold in us $ and then salaries have to be paid in Europe. For Airbus that is a loss of millions every year.
