Best American fastfood?

What do you guys think is the best American fastfood? Restaurants like Chilis are included . I have already been at Dennys and Taco Bell. Taco Bell is my favorite to be honest :P. But I am open for suggestions

I love taco bell - to be honest - I can't choose just one place - but maybe thats the pregnancy talking.

If you haven't tried these and can find one try outback steakhouse, bennigans, buffelo wild wings and of course hooters

taco bell is cheap but i don't think it's great, you can do better than that!

in and out burger on the west coast is really good. culver's in the midwest is good. i am also a fan of potbelly's.

I also am a fan of Taco Bell. It's tasty for being so cheap.

I really dig Beef-A-Roo (turkey bacon club + waffle cheese fries are my fave) and Bouna Beef (turkey delicioso + steak fries). Portillo's has fantastic chopped salads; can't say I've had much else from there. Culvers' butter burgers are great, but everything else I've gotten from there seems to be a bit soggy. You can't go wrong with their creamy custard.

Red Robin has great burgers IMO, as does Ruby Tuesday's and Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Maggiano's is a bit nicer and they have some great pasta and bread (also good salads), and Macaroni Grill also has tasty pasta (I love the pasta milano, and my boyfriend loves the lobster ravioli).

I think BDubbs (Buffalo Wild Wings) > Hooter's, though.

I like Krystal gut grenades. No White Castle down here for Harold and Kumar, but they did find Freakshow in Mississippi. Eat about ten of them and they will explode out your butt!

Have been at Taco Bell today. Burito Supreme with chicken - delicious. Haven't been at Hooter's yet, will check that out soon.

Definitely, thanks a lot for the reviews .

gl i think all food is overpriced and bad at hooters. i don't eat wings, maybe they are the one thing there that is worth it - i doubt it though.

Of the various chains I am most partial to Culver's which I first discovered in Wisconsin while working on some jobs there. I was glad when they entered Chicagoland. I once exchanged an email or two with Mr. Culver. LOL

If in the mood for some tacos, I'd go to Taco Bell. Oftentimes I'd go to Macaroni Grill for some lobster ravioli which I have been craving for lately.

That reminds me that several years ago just on a whim I wrote to Arby's off their website saying how I refuse to buy their product because it's pressed beef or whatever the term is when they fuse bits of beef together instead of real hunks of meat. Way way back when I was little they used "real" beef. OK, real is not the right word because it IS real but not like a hunk of beef you'd get at the supermarket.

I wasn't expecting a reply at all but someone who seemed to be high up at Arby's wrote me a lengthy email explaining how as Arby's grew into this big chain there was simply no way to supply it with regular beef of decent quality and be able to have the restaurant operators be able to turn out a good product that was consistent each and every time. I wrote back and thanked him for his note as it was very interesting.

I'd still rather have a "real" roast beef sammich but frankly I don't know any fast food places that have them. There used to be a small chain called Cal's but they're gone. And I think Roy Rogers did but there are no more in this area and I don't know if they made the switch to pressed beef as well.

Right now I am in the mood for a big juicy cheeseburger, fries and a milkshake. I just have to find a place that makes it worth it, Maybe Applebees or something.

Applebees has tasty burgers. I had one at Longhorn Steakhouse the other night - it was SUPER good, but later that evening I ended up getting sick to my stomach. Not sure if it was the burger or the beer I drank.

I think it's just Longhorn Steak house. I've eaten a burger from there before and have gotten sick. My mom had shrimp on a different occasion and got sick. My aunt also ate there and complained of stomach problems the next day as well. I now try to avoid that restaurant.
