I am curious about the Chevy Volt. Let's see if Chrysler can do better.
Chrysler says it will have an electric vehicle on the market by 2010. In fact, they say they
will consider electric versions for all its future vehicles.
If successful, Chrysler will be bringing extended-range electric vehicles to market alongside GM.
GM debuted a production version of Chevy Volt during its recent centennial celebration. At that time no other automaker had yet proposed electric versions of vehicles in its lineup.
Now Chrysler has unveiled examples of 3 electric vehicles, including Chrysler Town and Country, Jeep Wrangler, and a Dodge 2-seat sports car. They also will show a new GEM Peapod neighborhood electric vehicle.
Chrysler said 1 of these 4 will be ready in US by 2010, but they didn’t specify which one. Chicagolandauto.com looks forward to the roll out
