| cost of repairs for honda civic hybrid I have a 2003 honda civic hybrid,4 cylinder,stick. I was told by the Honda dealership that I needed a new thermostat,3 hoses and a gasket. They quoted me around $500...due to my car being a hybrid is the thermostat connected differently? Other car mechanics have quoted me less but they want to see the car first. Any suggestions? Dealerships are expensive but Honda knows the hybrid. |

| I live on the southwest side of Chicago. Also needing 3 new tires and an alignment. Where can I go for decent affordable tires as well as an alignment. Don't want to go to the Honda dealership for this. |

| Which hoses and gasket? Hoses and thermostat are usually fairly easy to change. Not something I'd pay a mechanic to do. Why only three tires? Sears does alignments for $70-75.
