a/c diagnoisis assistance please

wat up, damn i've been gone too long yall done went up and changed the site.

anyway some of you remember me.
i still have the nissan maxima.
but in feburary i added another nissan mamber to the family.

she's a 91 infiniti q45.
first got her with 152k on her (now at 158k).
powerful as hell.
rides real nice does'nt feel like a 4200lbs car.
and paid $1000 for her.

well evrything is good except one problem.

the a/c was low on refrigerant so i did a r134 conversion.
the first 2 days was fine a/c ice cold!

on the 3rd day my mom was complaining of a burning smell and the a/c wasnt workin as cold. turns out the condenser fan had went burnt out.

replaced the fan and noticed their was hardly any refrigerant in the sight glass.

went to advance auto got the r134 (with leak sealer)
put it in.

now when you first turn the a/c on it starts to get cold then just blowing out hot air.
the sight glass show some bubbles and the high side of the reciver/dryer is very hot and the low side is cold.

can someone help me out as to what i did wrong?
please...

i have a feeling it was that r134 leak sealer crap from advance auto

okay i checked the sight glass turns out it was low and empty.
so i now have a leak.

now i have two choices:

buy two cans of r134 and a can of dye.

or pay about $40 and take it to pepboys to diagnos it.

which would you guys/gals think is better?

thanks in advance
