| By the way, yes, I have yelled at my camera man about his "jitterness." As of yesterday I ordered a camera mount for my car so this summer it will be nice and sturdy when I do some runs. |

| yeah, well, whenever you do race, be sure to turn the traction control OFF for it. unless you want a small tire chirp and slow ass acceleration to 30mph |

(Yes that is sarcasm)
I normally have competitive mode on, which is active handling on but traction control off.

| Yes -
I use to be into neon's/strobes a bit to much with my old car (ok, I went way overboard). I realized I couldn't put many on the Z06, just because it would be wrong. Anyway, I wanted to re-use my Whelen Police Strobes (90 watt power pack, 4 strobe heads). I decided to use them in the Z06 and have them hooked up to my alarm. I have a wiring diagram on my site on how this is accomplished if you need help.
As for legality issues...everyone always acts ignorant when I say I have police strobes. They are like "Do you know you can get pulled over for that?" Well no-duh Sherlock. I have never used the strobes for illegal purposes - only for the alarm. My philosophy is, if someone wants your car/stuff in your car bad enough, they are going to get it. However, the more attention your car attracts when the alarm goes off, the better the chances are they will leave it alone. What will people notice more: A normal every day alarm going off in a parking lot, or an alarm going off with police strobes blinding them?
Anyway, I sort of got off topic. If you ever want to hook up strobes, I will be home in the summer and I can help you out.

| Are you really going to go into the whole "your mommy daddy are rich” argument? You know nothing about me, nor where I obtain my funds. The reason I was sarcastic on my post, is for the fact you made me out as an ignorant person who doesn’t know how to drive their own car.
I'm not sure what your n/m post means, but I am not here to start fights or what not. I came here because there are a lot of nice looking cars, and I want to get to know some people around my area.

| Carleton, seems you CAN drive the car (from the vids atleast)..i'd love to be in your financial position as many others would, but thats besides the point. Where are you from? We should meet up sometime and shoot the shit. Maybe have a get-togather this weekend? |

Carleton | no, im not going into any type of argument. youre right. i dont know you, so i dont believe you. im not sayin you dont have a zo6. but i doubt that you bein 19 or whatever, that you own your own company. and i doubt youre fucking paris hilton, so that kind of narrows it down a bit, doesnt it? also, in a couple of your earlier posts, there were some grammatical errors. ill admit, in a grammatical sense, you are much better than most of the people who post in the message boards i go to, but not quite the caliber you would expect from someone 19 years old that generates the revenue required for a zo6 and most of the other stuff you have. so it was just an observation.
secondly, i was not making you an idiot. only you can do that.what i was referring to is a common mistake made by people with cars equipped with traction control. it doesnt matter if you know to turn it off. go to the track, and things change, especially if its your first time. turning off the tc is usually the last thing on your mind.
third, you may be a little internet ignorant if you dont know what n/m is. it means no message. basically, it double posted, but instead of having you read it twice, i just put n/m in there, because i cant delete the whole reply;i can only delete the content IN the reply.
im glad you are not here to start fights. you would be an idiot if you did try to start a fight with me, since i dont live anywhere in chicago. anyway, i guess we can both chalk it up as a misunderstanding |

| I live close to Naperville...by Danada sort of. I am at college right now, but will be home for break soon. However, I do not take the Z06 out in the rain/snow, so if we ever do have a meet up during my Christmas vacation, it will have to be nice out!
Carleton
Also, thanks for the comment about me being able to drive. I actually taught myself manual on the Z06. I took the car to the track only once last summer. I got in 4 runs before it rained us out! Anyway, on my third run I ran a 12.81@113.17 with a 60' of 2.04. Mind you, this was in 85 degree weather with 90% humidity, and I had less than 1,600 miles on the car (in other words, I had driven manual less than that many miles). So to me it was a small victory, though I plan on frequenting the track this summer quite a bit. Some guys on the corvetteforums have gotten STOCK Z06's (with stock tires, intake, etc) in the 11's, so my goal is to put on a few bolt on's, and hopefully get into the 11's by the end of summer. |

| Firestarter - This is a message board. I do not "bust out" my most eloquent phrases and words, nor do I spell check much of the time. I apologize if my posts, which I normally make quickly between classes, have any grammatical errors.
I really have nothing to prove/say on how or where I get my money. The topic has been gone over in every single message board I go to, so it is getting to be a bit repetitive to me. I know I take care of my car, am not stupid with it, and do not treat anyone different because of what car they have. I wish you DID live by me so eventually we could hang out. I am probably one of the most easy going guys you will meet.
Also, n/m could mean never mind. That is why I asked.
